I thought this was an excellent movie - very moving and great acting. The singing policemen scene was quite bizarre but overall I just loved it and would definitely watch it again.

Since you cant have an ozzie film without quirkiness, singing policemen is as good as any.

yeah was ok, not earth shattering but considering I really like Rachel Griffiths would be best watched by her fans.

This is the strangest mix of genres you will find. I was uncomfortable with the singing policemen until I looked at the movie as music theatre. Musicals do have singing policemen. Add that genre to the existing list (psychological drama, comedy) and Amy becomes a gem. Great cast. Great performances. Nice scenes of Melbourne. (Relax and don't navigate!)

Strong Aussie cast is effective in a heart rending story that is effectively told on a budget that required lots of local footage.
