I appreciate that this movie highlights a very sad part of history and reminds us to respect all cultures and people. It has some chilling moments. Unfortunately you can identify that it was a low budget movie.
I enjoyed this movie, pleasantly surprised that Bradley cooper would on take this role. Georgina lightening was superb. The story was intriguing and thought provoking.
Not what I expected. Thought it was a horror. Saying that it wasn’t bad and a true story echoes of things still going on today with religious factions still thinking their religion is the only one and that people should live their lives according to others.
This is not a "Scary Horror" movie, so if that's a genre you like, then this IS NOT the movie for you. Both my housemate and I were really glad to have seen this movie, based on a true story. An important subject for those who know that education can heal the blight of prejudice and ignorance. Bradley Cooper has clearly chosen to do a movie that reflects his ethics.
Rubbish!!! Worst movie ever - I even turned it off.
What Bradley Cooper was thinking I don’t know!
It wasn't what I was expecting either.
From the description I was expecting a scary movie, but it more of a sad movie. Interesting story, but I don't think I gave it the attention it probably deserved as it's not the sort of movie I had been wanting to watch. Maybe if I'd been in the mood for something a bit more serious rather than scary I would have been more engrossed.
