It was an entertaining kids movie that deals with tough parental love and the things that life offers that can get in the way. It shows the family triumphs over it together while strengthening their family.

I'm a chipmunks fan!!! However I'm not a Jason Lee fan, too one dimensional from his My Name Is Earl Character.

My kids absolutely love this movie. I unfortunately have had enough of the chipmunks in my childhood to render it unoriginal. Still fun for the kids

THis was a big weak, didn't get that many laughs from us. It was okay but we only watched it once.

Alvin Theodore and Simon, great to hear them sing, and a great 'feel good' movie. great fun... and a hidden lesson: all play and no rest is no fun! Loved it! I will see it again, so five stars!

I liked this movie although some parts were corny and real child like it was a great family movie which my kids and I enjoyed together - we are looking forward to the sequeal as i grew up with the chipmunks and seeing my kids love them as much as i do is exciting - generation to generation.

A nice fresh take on a perennial franchise. Jason Lee was the perfect foil to the furry stars. The kids loved it!

The best animation and a warm and fuzzy family movie . Very cute and a great laugh for any age really .

This movie is great for kid's but not exactly a 'family' movie. I sat with my daughter, expecting at least half a dozen laugh's for myself. However I was sadly let down. The graphic's where good though.

Very simple but very funny in parts. The second half is a bit boring, with not as many laughs. The CGI effects to create the three chipmunks is very well done, with Theodore being absolutely heartbreakingly cute! The plot was formulaic, but otherwise the film was very enjoyable with some very laugh out loud moments!

wow, it is such a cool movie. I loved it. 3 little chipmunks are so cute. kids love them.

For kids only, there is nothing that is appealing to adults about this one at all. I didn't like Jason Lee in the lead role and the CGI was pretty low standard.

My 6 year old loved this movie and he didn't want to return it. Will definately be buying a copy to keep.

Quite a funny movie. Worth a watch

I'm not sure what I expected, because I just love cute little cartoon characters, but somehow this film didn't grab me. I'm not a kid, so perhaps that's why. The first frustration for me was not being able to understand a word the little critters said. The second was the weak storyline. Okay, so it can't be too complicated if you have to grasp what the little fellas are saying and follow the plot at the same time. But I lost interest eventually because the outcome was so predictable.

This is really good family comedy movie with great characters, nice music / songs and good storyline. It is really a nice one to watch for the whole family members on Saturday night.

I am sure even kids can see through this one - appalling acting and the characters were not overly endearing. One for the die hard Chipmunks fans only. Rather dissapointing.

Worth Watching - Loves kids movie! Who doesn't love chipmunks voice!!!

Anyone that grew up with "Christmas, christmas time is near..." blaring over the LP during the festive season will enjoy the sentimentality of this delightful comedy. Lovable characters, many levels of humour, fun music and a wonderful moral story make this is a great family movie that everyone can enjoy. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star rating is the predictable story line but that is one thing you expect in a family comedy - predictable happy endings.

Don't miss this ONE!
