Altered (2006)

Brilliant if you want your aliens scary and in your face. Otherwise two stars.

I turned it off - I gave it 30 mins to tell me waht it was even about... Bad Acting, Bad Story!

Absolute rubbish.

Only for hard core fans of this genre, and even then two stars is a tad generous.

If you like really dodgy special effects then you will love this one. I thought this was spectacularly bad in the best possible way. Bad acting, even worse haircuts and some of the dodgiest 'alien' lifeforms ever. Run away!

A low budget film that allows a greater focus on the characters and the way their emotions impact on their actions. It isn't white knuckle stuff but I thought it worked really well and draws you in as the story unfolds. Good ending.

It was ok, some good scenes in there. It was a bit anoying how many times they cocked the gun without shoting it :S

Not bad - the alien was believable. Quite a good story and wasn't too trite and cliched.

Alien vs the rednecks, as a bunch of backwoods bozos takes on the nasty guy in the rubber suit. Lots of swearing and rushing about in the dark with several of the victims showing a lot of guts (literally). Watched it all the way through then wasn't sure why I bothered. Felt like I came in through the middle of the movie or that this was the sequel to something even worse but not so — although the ending clearly sets up a sequel. And if they did make one, now THAT would be truly horrible!

I was surprised that this was better than expected, especially from the usual 'no-name' horror movie actors. Their hick character names were actually real, rather than the usual hollywood names you never hear in real life - unusual I expected it to be a bit more predictable, besides - if there is something nasty - kill it as it will surely kill you . . .

If you like movies with no plot with every second word a swear word you love this. However if you have even one working brain cell you'll hate it. To quotea character from the movie "This is F***ing Cr*p"

Another one that could have been better. Not a bad monster but...

Good creature-thriller, not much of a horror but definitely worth a watch. A bit lacking in blood and gore (though a couple of parts will get you squirming), but otherwise quite good.

Couldn't finish, it was that bad.

Garbage. Don't bother, seriously....

Good movie. Wasnt sure what I was going to see but I enjoyed it.
