My all-time favourite movie. You just have to watch it - Straight back to the 70's in this tribute to music and the lifestyles surrounding it.

Set in the 1970's a wannabe teenage music journalist meets some groupies and they travel from gig to gig on the rock band's bus. The director is the ex-journalist and is directing his own story. As such it is a bit sanitised and ends up being a film about teenagers for teenagers. Story is slow at the start but does improve near the end. Could have been better - give it a miss.

Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll as it was in the 70s. Great movie with Kate Hudson's Penny Lane stealing the show.
