this movie held our attention for the compleate story, though expecting the ending different
Very interesting movie and it is based on a real case. A must see for anyone in an abusive relationship or dealing with a narcissist or psychopath. Makes you want to find out, what did happen in the end?
I was extremely bored to be honest, the story drags on for too long. I guess the acting was commendable though.
Mr. David Marks was suspected but never tried for killing his wife Katie who disappeared in 1982, but the truth is eventually revealed. Not a great movie, but an engrossing entertainment if you are in the mood for a dark story that leaves you wondering how closely real events in fact matched up to this clever reconstruction.
I found this movie rather frustration, how with so much compelling evidence was this man not found guilty of his Wife's murder is unbelievable. Good acting by the two main leads and again highlights the world of money and the powerful wheeler & dealers in business & politics. Was worth watching with good storyline, just a little slow at times.
I don't like movies where you don't know what happened in the end. This movie was ok.
Ryan Gosling improves as a credible actor movie after movie. Along with Kirsten Dunst he makes this story come to life. Great story that gets you involved as it moves along. Worth a look see.
i was hoping for better. no one has ever been found guilty of the murder.
this is a midday movie, only better acting.
Kept my attention for the 100 mins, Agree the ending was somewhat disappointing. Worth a watch.
This was a interesting movie. It's a shame Mr David Marks was never convicted for killing his wife.
Great acting and an ok movie but even at 100 mins seemed way too long to me.
Strange. Good performances. It never cease to amaze me what or where or brains will take us.
I really enjoyed this movie. Good acting and good story.
Sad story. Gosling and Dunst were pretty darn good.
Not as good as I was expecting. Kind of slow. I enjoyed actors who played the main characters.
Way too slow for my liking. Too much of it was in the dark so couldn't see what was going on for a lot of the time. After reading the other reviews, I was left feeling quite disappointed with this movie. A lot of tension but didn't lead to anything.
Great acting in a VERY creepy movie. Can't say it was enjoyable, but it was interesting. You would've expected this sort of story from 100 years ago, not 20 years ago.
Ryan gosling plays a great role but didn't expect him to be like this an ok movie
As flinty and enigmatic as its protagonist David Marks, this intense "based on true events" thriller uses a combination of fact and supposition to tell the very strange story of a real estate heir and the events surrounding the disappearance of his wife in the early 80's. Gosling shows yet again why he is one of the stand-out actors of his generation, Dunst projects a believable vulnerability and Langella chews the scenery as a gothically imposing father. While it offers no real insights into Marks' motivations, ( to be fair, only Marks himself can tell that story) All Good Things tackles a difficult subject and handles it with considerable style and aplomb. Engrossing.
Ryan Gosling does mental health issues so well....too well in this one. Downright creepy. Turned it off when the dog was murdered.
Not exactly what I was expecting but weird enough to make it good. Great performances from the actors. Brilliant movie when you know the end. Watch it, think about it as this guy is free out there. The film will leave you with a feeling of doubt.
I liked this movie held my attention to the very end~
Kirsten Dunst was fabulous in this movie. Gorgeous filming and character building, an engaging storyline but the ending was a bit weak.
a little slow for my liking
