In this action-packed sequel to Alien, Sigourney Weaver returns as Ripley, in (an Oscar nominated role), the only survivor from mankind's first encounter with the monstrous Alien. 9 years passed between the original and the sequel, BUT It's hard to believe as the quality similarities are so close. Great movie, I watched it in the 90's as a teenager and forgot about it, found it recently and watched it in a row with all 4 to the series and each one was as good as the other.

This long version of Aliens is truly a masterpiece. Details that were omitted in the first showing complete the picture. You'll need more than two hours of complete absorbtion for this one.

Second part of Sigourney Weavers classic sci-fi triller trilogy.
The tension builds up as she returns to the godforsaken,now colonised planet to fight the same mob of monstrous aliens,with the same disastorous outcome.Excelent!!!

Wonderful, the story continues for our lost female hero. She braves the Aliens yet again and manages to stand her ground with a gang of highly trained macho marines.

Although some of the Special FX have become a little dated over almost 20 years, what hasn't changed is the extraordinary performance by Sigourney Weaver. Ripley remains in my mind one of the greatest film horoines - a rare case of perfect casting.
