When young Prince Alexander's father is killed in mysterious circumstances, he finds the reins of power thrown into his hands and the weight of a nation resting upon his shoulders. Sensing the nation's weakness, the ferocious neighbouring countries on each side of the princedom raise armies and march on the capital, while traitors within his own empire attempt to poison and dethrone Alexander at his wedding feast. Didn't realize it was a Russian movie and subbed, tried watching it anyway and its just worth it.

not worth watching...it was a waste of time. It is not related to the real Alexander in anyway. So if any body wants to rent it make sure you are trying to reach the right story.

this is a very interesting title, unfortunately i had this sent to me twice, both times copy is faulty. Same place, same problem. Cover states running time 90 mins. Running time is actually about 105 mins. interesting, the fault is at 92 mins each time?? i tried to get into the last 15 mins. without sound and although it's in russian (& subtitled anyway), i still couldn't properly make out the end which rendered title'disappointing'
