Going through a Danny Boyle movie marathon. I liked this movie, hence the 4 stars. Note, however, that the image quality is DVD quality, if not VHS quality. The backgrounds are especially murky. Which is a pity, given that the empty London scenes are quite special. However, this is probably due to the equipment that the director chose to film the movie with, rather than the Blu-Ray format itself. If you want to see a dystopian UK in high definition, try Children of Men instead. Now, on to 28 Months Later…?
