This movie took my leg and I'm not about to give it my good review. This movie was crap sandwich and the tartar sauce gun didnt add any flavor. Peter's review is more entertaining. It is also an insult to the U.S. Military. The uniforms looked as they were pulled straight out of a pillow case. I have seen better productions on u tube.

Complete trash - Unwatchable. Like original Godzilla the monster is very fake, but we can forgive the big G as it is original and an absolute classic. On the other hand with the technology available to the modern film maker as well as brilliant classic novel on which it is based, this could have been somewhat amazing. However the modernisation of the story has completely bastardised the story and use of the poorest special effects possible disgusts me. I don't see how even B-grade actors could have signed on for this and I don't understand how the producer could have released it after seeing the finished product. For the sake of all that is good, all copies of this movie should be destroyed.
If I could have given a rating less than 0 stars, I would have.

A rubbish movie about a great tale that deserves to be told better. Special effects were rubbish for this day and age. Don't bother.

I had high expectations of a great movie, using modern day special effects, of a classic tale - what a combination.
Sadly, the movie had the WORST special effects I have ever seen - they were like something out of the '70's.... and some incredibly lame, cliche-laden acting, particularly by dear old Captain Ahab....
I am sorry I rented this one... truly sorry.

If you hire this out expecting anything other than one of those insanely bad films that are so bad that they're great (in a hilarious kind of way) then you're silly. The graphics are laughable, the acting is questionable and the story is full of flaws and holes but it is so bad that it's extremely entertaining.
Just don't expect a quality oscar contender and you're likely to laugh at this alot.
