Every story ever written is just waiting to become real. Mo Folchart (Brendan Fraser) has the special talent to bring characters out of books. One night he brings out three characters from Inkheart, a story set in Medieval times and filled with magical beings. Capricorn (Andy Serkis) and Basta (Jamie Foreman), two villains, and Dustfinger (Paul Bettany), a fire-eater. Caroline (Hudson), a live-in nurse, is hired to care for an elderly woman's ailing husband in their home - a foreboding and decrepit Gothic mansion in the marshy backwoods just outside of New Orleans. Intrigued by the enigmatic couple and the dark and mysterious surroundings, Caroline begins to explore the old mansion. Armed with a skeleton key that unlocks every door, she discovers a hidden attic room that holds a deadly and terrifying secret. Caroline soon discovers that the mansion is haunted by a pair of century old spirits. The spirits are evil and are manipulating the living to fit their desires, and Caroline herself is at the centre of one of their sinister schemes.

A pre-fame Beatles head for the seedy clubs of Hamburg in search of success. The band meet up with a group of trendy German beatniks, one of whom (Astrid Kircherr) bass guitarist Stuart Sutcliffe falls in love with. Whilst best friend John Lennon can only watch, Sutcliffe has to choose between rock 'n roll and a new life in Germany...
The police turn Prot (Spacey) over to Dr Mark Powell (Bridges) after he politely tells them that the light on their planet is too bright for him - much brighter than back home on the distant planet K-PAX. Prot says he's on a fact-finding mission, and patiently explains how his experiences on earth contrast with life on K-PAX. He finds much to like here, but says he will go home before the summer ends. As the days before his announced departure race by, all the patients on the ward vie to go with him. Dr Powell is haunted by dark fears for Prot, and is determined to use every tool at his disposal to discover this man's truth before it's too late. But as those tools fail him,...
While practicing the tricks of the trade, a neophyte "hacker" accomplishes the nearly impossible: he hacks the highly secured computer at the Ellingson Mineral Corporation. But in doing so, he unknowingly taps into a high-tech embezzling scheme masked by a computer virus with the potential to destroy the world's ecosystem! And when the young hacker and his pals are targeted for the crime, the group must launch a massive cyberspace attack--one that will hopefully clear their names and prevent ecological disaster.
