Heard good things about Torchwood from friends. Hope it gets better from here, after the first couple of episodes of character development.

A rip-roaring fun series opener. Lots of fun, adult escapism. Makes you want to check out the rest of the series.

So much better then The Doctor... Its the Captian. More exciting, greater connections, and that Welsh accent is awesome. Definitely not for kids, but definitely hooked me way more then Dr Who ever did There's nothing about this show NOW worth loving.

an excellent series with a new twist. Unfortunately being made by BBC Wales in the UK with a mostly Welsh cast the Welsh accent will limit its audience in Australia.

Dr Who for adults. A few patchy episodes, and more Welsh than Tom Jones in a field of daffodils, but overall excellent British Sci-Fi. Definately not for kids.....no matter how much they want to watch it due to its Dr Who connection (sex, violence, gore etc).

Excellent show. Not what I expected being a Doctor Who spinoff, doesn't lean on Doctor Who at all but charts its own course from the start. Very adult though, wouldn't watch in front of kids. Good cast & scripts. Races along, action all the way. nice blend of Sci-Fi & character interaction. Can't wait for the next dvd.

The X files with sex & swearing. I just couldn't become interested in any of the characters or their adventures. The extras show how clever & with it they think this show is, but I don't think it is. Just not my cup of tea.
