One is a little round; the other is a little little. They both wear glasses and answer to the same name. They read mock news items, and engage in parody, puns and tongue-twisters. The little one tells tall stories from a big armchair. They perform absurd sketches, they sing, they dance and sometimes they dress up in dresses. They are Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker. In series nine, the Ronnies are on top form with eight hilarious episodes including great sketches such as the Crossed Lines Telephone sketch, the Talking Dog and more classic Ronnie Barker Pismounciation. Musical numbers include Slim Pittman and Polly Parton, the Hendon Synphony Orchestra and The Mounties Song while guest singers include Marti Webb, Elkie Brooks and Elaine Paige.
