How a minor slap on a child can change so many lives. Well written, it's amazing how you change your opinions often during the course of events. Strong sex scenes and lanuage, so not for children. Excellent story quality acting so far as each character (good and bad ) develops strongly indicating their view (some disjointed) of what happened. Looking forward to disc 2.

Absolutely loved this series. With each episode, you changed your opinions of each of the characters. A good reminder that everyone has a dark side.

Waiting now on the 3rd disc and then I'm going to read the book! Brilliant Aussie drama, great characterisation and really well-cast. Fantastic premise for a story, full kudos to Christos Tsiolkas for his story-telling pivoting around this seemingly small event. Love how the points of view shift around with each chapter. Just be aware there are lots of sex scenes which are quite graphic and Tsiolkas likes to demonstrate his knowledge of the many and varied ways there are to have sex! Definitely not one for the kids.

I didn't like the first disc but continued to watch second disc because of the other good reviews. Half way through the second disc the series improved and by the end I was quite enjoying it.

This is probably one of the best television series I have ever seen. Fascinating characters and situations that feel very true to life - especially if you live in Melbourne like I do. My only criticism was that the sex scenes were way too graphic and quite unnecessary (I understand the novel on which it is based is quite graphic too). I don't need to see everything in detail to realise that the characters are having it off!
