Summer Heights High is an ABC-TV series which follows the journies of multiple characters over one term in an average Australian public school. Over one term, a documentary crew films the everyday activities at an average Australian public high school. Three individuals stand out - Mr G, an ego driven drama teacher on a mission to change the face of drama education; Ja\'mie King, a bitchy private schoolgirl on a student exchange, set to make her mark; and Jonah Takalua, a mischievous schoolboy from Tonga with the odds stacked against him. The only characteristic they have in common is they are all played by writer and performer Chris Lilley. The characters take us through the seemingly huge traumas of friendship, staff politics, schoolwork and relationships that are the fabric of life in the school universe.

Never saw this on TV, so was looking forward to seeing for myself what everyone said was very funny. Found it to be very funny in the cringe-worthy way.

Being a teacher, I really felt for the teachers portrayed. Sad that it really is like this in some schools - not a good role model for kids to aspire to, however if you see the funny side - yeh its OK! Recommend for mature kids only.

This is honestly one of the funniest shows to have screened recently. Lilley does a great job portraying three very diverse charactors. Fans of Lilley's previous show 'We Can Be Heroes' will love this show just as much.
