RUSH is back!! After rating 1M+ weekly over 13 episodes in its first series, RUSHs popularity is set to reach a whole new level in 2009, with a whopping 23 episodes slated for this second series - 12 of which are contained within Volume 1 (Volume 2 due out next March!). Considered the Australian CSI, RUSH is big, bold and broad in its appeal. RUSH SERIES 2 follows the actions of a critical response police unit. It is a fast-paced punch in the face for Australian television, with world-class production values and mass commercial appeal. RUSH SERIES 2 is screening on Channel 10 from July to December 2009.

Rush is an outstanding series worth watching from Season 1 - the acting and scripts are superb. I have read critcisms about the weapons handling of the Tactical Response team elsewhere, but unless you are extraordinarily picky or knowledgable about that side of things it doesn't impact on the storylines and action at all. The gradual development of the characters through the series releases is excellent - all the TR people are nicely "human", with a reasonable number of warts to temper any heroics. LOVE this show.
