Every sci fi cliche rolled out in a mysteriously all British outer space colony. I was excited to see Jamie Bamber in the first episode but they killed him off quickly. Just not enough of interest to keep me watching. Typically lame BBC special effects on a planet that looks a lot like South Africa.

I had forgot I had seen this before on TV but I still enjoyed it the second time round as I had missed a few bits, not bad for an english Si Fi

Was disappointed to find that the series had been cut short after leading up to a climatic cliff hanger and the end of series 1. It may have been set in the future but the future but this was more drama and less Sci Fi but it worked.

Not impressed at all. If you like long drawn out TV soap opera type shows like "LOST" etc, you will like this. I found it just plain boring, sub standard special effects, certainly produced for TV

Brilliant BBC series - the last survivors of a dying earth have set up an outpost on a distant planet called Carpathia - named for the ship that rescued the Titanic survivors. Great cast, intricate plot lines - rivetting. The series got better as it went on with the establishment of the dangers from within - and from without - some human, some alien, and in the middle the CA's - clones sent along prior to human settlement to test whether the planet was safe. Only 3series, but worth watching
