The original surreal sketch comedy showcase for the Monty Python troupe, Flying Circus was an outrageous, bawdy and often tasteless show that found a massive following and made stars out of its cast.

While to the uninitiated they may look like ordinary .65 oz. digital video discs, due to the unique physics of comedy (its like quantum but with fewer dead cats), each disc actually weighs a full metaphoric ton! Please remember to lift with your knees! This 16-Ton Megaset contains every single episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus - four years of blood, sweat and blancmange - jammed into slivers of plastic the size of a tea plate! Monty Python's Flying Circus is now available on DVD in its entirety, making for hours of side-splitting comedy!

I just could not get interested in this, I was looking for a flow on but maybe I have a different sense of humour.

Brilliant English comedy. In this world of rampant nihilistic individualism where humour is based on derogatory rascism sexism homophobia etc. it's nice to see language and ideas used as the medium of challenging our mores. This will go over many peoples heads because it's skillfull clever humour from the distant past.

Absolutely classic. It was 1969, and these were just a group of overeducated clowns having fun. The last episode is priceless and involves Scotsman, Wimbledon and a dessert from another planet. Watch it in a group if at all possible.
