FANTASTIC. I read the amazing book many years ago and none the less interested, amazed, to think this is based on truth. To think how these people were treated is beyond any thing we can imagine in a land of plenty but of course poverty still is part of our society sadly. Well acted, well produced and I guess for sick entertainment it is a classic. I give it 5 stars for it's opening our eyes more to the poor and the way the are still illtreated in many ways.

An interesting story that is at times made a little corny!

I only watched about half the first episode. Perhaps it is just too realistically done for my taste. I became disgusted by the filth and the mistreatment of the convicts, and couldn't take any more.

This is a film of incredible courage, based on a true story one can hardly imagine the cruel and indescent acts performed on these women. Thank goodness the world has changed and the female race has progressed to the current standard today- a vote for the female race!
