I didn't really like the whole montage beginning of the film, it seemed to jump over some pretty important moments. Robert Caryle was pretty good, but the best depiction of Hitler I have seen still belongs ot the actor in Downfall.

The attention to historical detail is impeccable, but the serious drama is put together just as well as Robert Carlyle's performance is just incredible. A highly recommended miniseries, definitely watch it.

A well told version of the most evil man in history. Very well made and not boring to watch. 3 hours went in a flash.

I really think Robert Carlyle should get an Oscar for his performance as the psychotic and impassioned Hitler. Very gripping movie from beginning to end.
