I'm really enjoying this series, more so than Life On Mars even, because of the fantastic 1980s pop culture references. The music is fantastic, the characters go to the Blitz club and the story is intriguing. If you grew up reading The Face and were obsessed with British pop culture I'm sure you'd enjoy Ashes to Ashes.
