In the early 1950's, a young army officer and a student nurse fall in love. Together for only three months, they are separated when Lionel is posted to Korea during his National Service. Jean, who was nursing in Middlesex at the time waited for news from Lionel but it never arrived.

Thirty-eight years later Lionel returns to England to complete his book, My Life in Kenya, and unknowingly engages the services of Jean's secretarial agency. A chance meeting rekindles the relationship, but there is a lot to sort out before their precarious relationship can be restored.

Great to be able to hire this series as unable to obtain complete set in video rental outlets. This way, one can get to watch the whole series for far less that what it would cost to purchase the entire set. After all, why buy when you can rent. Thanks for this service.
