The high standard you would expect from a BBC series. Obviously, this will only be of limited interest but for those who are interested in the history of ancient Britain, it is well worth watching. 1st disc covers the ice age, when Britain was still part of mainland Europe, to the rise of the modern human species and how they changed the land by embracing farming of cattle and grain crops, and working as communities, rather than individuals.
