Husband and wife team and Royal Shakespeare Company players Dame Judi Dench and Michael Williams star in a much-admird comedy series from the early 1980s. She plays Laura, who is thirty-seven and unmarried. He plays Mike, also single. Laura's sister, Helen, (Susan Penhaligon) is anxious to see Laura 'married off' and introduces her to Mike at a party. The relationship is awkward but they pretend they are getting along well to keep Helen happy…

Enjoyable - two fine actors, all the more interesting as they were married to each other in real life. Good witty entertainment and good viewing.

Love Judi Dench, and Michael Williams and anything that Bob Larbey writes is always good. Enjoyed returning to this old favourite
